- Philosophy: She has long believed in using case studies and participatory workshops, as well as a collaborative planning process. Her goal is to meet you where you are so you can map a way forward that you’ll be excited about sustaining.
- Previous experience: Aetna, where she led initiatives in strategic planning, public policy advocacy, marketing, process improvement, program development and information technology.
- Current accomplishments: Strategic plans for such varied enterprises as Catholic Charities, The Governor’s Prevention Partnership, and Studio Art Quilt Associates. Her work with regional United Way boards includes identification of top community needs. She has developed winning grant proposals for Conference of Churches, EverybodyWins! CT and Family Life Education.
- Other consulting: In demand as planning consultant and trainer for Leadership Greater Hartford. She developed and delivered management leadership training programs sponsored by the Connecticut Council of Family Service Agencies. She also managed Network Connecticut, a statewide collaboration of Catholic Charities agencies providing case management and a host of human services. See our complete client roster.
- Education and civic engagement: Dorothy holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. As a volunteer she is the coach for Wish Elementary School’s School Governance Council and for FaithWorks. She was president of her church Parish Council and continues to be an active member. An alumna of the Leadership Greater Hartford’s American Leadership Forum (ALF), Dorothy is a member of the Third Sector New England consulting network.
